Marcia is an assistant professor at Columbia school of nursing.

She has dedicated 16 years to advanced practice nursing. In 2010 she completed her DNP at Columbia nursing. As well as her academic commitments she also works as a cardiology NP (nurse practitioner) in the cardiac intensive care unit at Colombia University Medical centre. Her passion is to educate and provide care for people who are disadvantaged and undeserved.
